If you are a DC fan, then you might know about Shazam, one of our oldest DC comic. This film the version of the character from 1941 DC comic book. Shazam is also known as Captain Marvel and this movie is direct by David F. Sandberg.
The trailer looks quite promising & we feel that a lot more will be coming in future. The main character Billy Batson is played by Asher Angel who becomes a superhero after he saves his friend from being bullied. The whole scene is similar to what we have seen in the comic. His friend’s role is been played by Jack Dylan Grazer.
This movie is quite different from the real comic. We feel it is more like the filler for the coming series. The main superhero character is been played by Zachary Levi supported by Mark Strong, who seems to be the villain.
This movie the first every full-length film version since 1941. In that time, this series was called as “Adventure of Captain Marvel.”
Story Behind The Making Of Shazam:
This movie was actually started in early 2000, but due to some issues, this had to wait for this long. In 2008, the movie finally got into pre-production, but later it got down due to some weird reasons. The major announcement was made in 2014 when WB (Warner Bros) official announced this movie. Later in 2017, David F. Sandberg signed this movie as a director.
